Quitting Sugar - Day One

So far so good!

Day one has gone well, neither of us feeling the need to have anything sweet.

Not even a sniff or a whiff!

Both of us had made separate visits to an unnamed local supermarket (lol) this morning, coming back with some jazzy, filtration water bottles.  We both need to drink more water and this is a good way of having it at hand, on the desk within easy reach. 

Karen noticed while whizzing around the aisles, that when she passed the sweet shelf,  out of habit she was about to add a chocolate to the trolley, but noticed this thought and kept on moving.  This led us to chat about how often we buy things out of habit when we don't actually want or need them, then having them close at hand we gobble them up because they are there.

How have we done today?

Number of chocolates, sweets, biscuits cakes eaten - NONE!

Success of the day - Water bottles.
